Travelling by Eurotunnel

If you want the convenience of taking your own car and are looking for the shortest crossing, Eurotunnel is the fastest way to cross the Channel at just 35 minutes. For some people there's the benefit of not having to board a ferry! There are up to three crossings per hour and checking in and boarding is easy.

There are a number of cafés and shops in both Eurotunnel terminals plus free WiFi. The French terminal has a large duty-free shop, ideal for last minute purchases.

We can arrange your Eurotunnel booking at the time of booking your holiday. Call our Customer Service team on 01825 748318.

Check-in is no later than 30 minutes before departure but no earlier than 2 hours before, using just your booking reference (and, of course, your passport!). Exit checks mean that you will need to submit API (Advance Passenger Information) beforehand, but this is easy to do online or over the phone with Eurotunnel – look out for an email about this a couple of months before you depart.

Subject to availability, the supplement costs are just £36 each way.
