Join like-minded Christians from the UK and France for a week of sunshine, relaxation, socialising and spiritual refreshment. Enjoy all the resort amenities you need and easy access to nearby beaches and picturesque coastal towns.

We'll be providing French translation on headsets, for the morning and evening meetings. We're expecting an increasingly wide mix of guests and an exciting, international atmosphere.

Make the most of the late summer warmth after children have returned to school - enjoy peace around the pool and riotous late night karaoke!

Programme

The Houseparty is the only week that features special excursions and meals that must be booked in advance.

The full 2024 programme can be seen here, as an indication of what the week looks like. The 2025 draft programme will be shared close to the time.

As well as the meals and excursions that must be booked in advance, there will be many other activities to participate in as you choose:

  • Bike rides and walks
  • Morning Bible study and evening teaching and worship
  • Pub quiz, karaoke, disco, whisky tasting, soiree with local singer
  • Late night opening licensed bar
  • On-site sports tournaments
  • A shuttle bus to the beach, hypermarket and local town

Matt is a worship leader and youth worker at Ebenezer Baptist church in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, where he lives with his wife Emily and their daughter Ellie. As well as serving at his church he also works alongside organisations such as CMA UK, Spring harvest holidays and the YBA.

He also runs a ministry called Refuel which is primarily focused on equipping and “refuelling” people to live for Christ in an increasingly hostile world. Matt enjoys Music, history, mountain climbing, building Lego, eating pizza and spending time with his family

    Jean is a Guernsey man serving as vicar of St Francis Church, Salisbury. Sue and Jean have 4 children who love making music together. Whenever possible, Jean enjoys riding his motorbike – and praying!

      Shared accommodation for solo travellers is allocated by gender. Couples who wish to share should book a whole unit of accommodation.

      Travel Options

      Travel by coach

      Your holiday begins the moment you step aboard our luxury coach on Sunday 31st August. Our on-coach courier will make sure you are looked after at all times.

      You’ll sail with award-winning Brittany Ferries, overnight from Portsmouth on board their bran new ferry Saint Malo, to the historic port of St Malo. Choose an en-suite cabin or a reclining seat.

      Pickup points are in Newcastle, Warrington, Birmingham and Bristol, or of course you can meet us in Portsmouth.

      The coach returns from Le Pas Opton on Monday 8th September and arrives in the UK on Tuesday 9th, cruising aboard Mont St Michel overnight from Caen at 23:30.

      Tickets are £250 return (or £140 single). Cabin space must be booked on the way out: a berth in a shared en-suite 4-berth cabin (with bunk beds) is £19, or a whole cabin to yourself is £75. On the way back, reserved seats are available for £5, or you can have a £55 2-berth cabin to yourself or shared (£28 if shared).

      Fly
      You can reduce your journey to a matter of hours by choosing to fly across the channel. Nantes is the nearest airport to LPO (one hour's drive, with transfers available) while Rennes and La Rochelle are two hours’ drive away. See more info here.

      Train
      Local train stations at nearby Challans and St Gilles connect with the high speed French TGV network at Nantes.

      Drive
      If you book a whole unit of accommodation with us, your Dover-Calais ferry crossing is included. We are also able to book your ferry crossing if you’re a solo traveller – just give our friendly Customer Service team a ring.
