Happy New Year! (Hope it's not too late to say that). We hope you have had a really special Christmas season. The snow arrived at Le Pas Opton earlier this month, how amazing are these photos!

As you get back into the regular rhythms of life and thoughts turn towards the year ahead, we hope you’ll consider joining us at Le Pas Opton for an amazing Spring Harvest Holiday.
Feature Week Updates
A key highlight this year is that we’ve extended the season by two weeks, adding Early Start & September Chill Out and giving more opportunities to enjoy the Vendée sunshine! Plus, our feature weeks programme is now in place, and you'll see the latest confirmed speakers and worship leaders who will be joining us across the season below. A few things to highlight...
Retreat Week (16-23 May) - now longer
This year we’ll be running Retreat Week from Saturday 16th to Saturday 23rd May. We’ll start with Welcome Drinks on Saturday, a morning service, and Street Party on Sunday giving guests time to get to know each other before the Retreat programme really gears up running from Monday to Friday. This year, in response to guests' suggestions, alongside the Retreat programme we are offering extra sessions to explore aspects of leadership, providing the opportunity to talk through and share insights and experiences. These sessions will follow the normal morning meeting and will be led by Rev Jonathan Woodhouse CB, a Baptist Minister bringing his wealth of leadership experience from church-based ministry, army chaplaincy, team leadership and Moorlands College as MA lecturer and chaplain. We know that not everyone in church leadership can be away from their congregations on Sundays and so will deliberately run these sessions in the week for those only able to join us Monday to Friday.
Pre-school Week (1-8 June) – expanded and refreshed
We’re developing the former ‘Toddler Week’ into ‘Pre-schooler Week’ with programming for children up to age 5. We’re delighted that Martha Shrimpton from Spring Harvest UK’s ‘Big Start’ will be joining us and leading a morning session for all the family to enjoy together. She’ll be sharing stories from her ‘Wow Jesus’ series, with the activities continuing into the morning kids’ programmes which will run alongside the adults Bible Study. She’ll also gather families in the evening, ahead of the main evening celebration, to end the day for our younger ones with a story, song and prayer. With an afternoon programme of entertainments and games, expect fun, learning, and all-age moments together. It will be a great week for those of you able to holiday outside of the school term. Count Everyone In will also run alongside, as before.
Home Education Week (8-15 June) - an opportunity to connect
Anne and Andrew Holland will host a week for home-educating families, with opportunities to connect, share resources, and enjoy holiday time together.

Alternative Holiday Options
Could you consider a different holiday option in 2026?
Multi-Week Stays
Our pricing makes multi-week stays attractive and we’ve paired feature weeks to help you plan extended breaks – for example, Retreat Week leading into half term, or Pre-school Week followed by Home Education Week. Our new Early Start week would give you a relaxed start before joining the Retreat Week, and the September Chill Out is a perfect end to Extra Time. Of course, you can make some pretty good three and four week combos so do take a look at Spring Harvest Holidays | Feature Weeks to find out more.
Out-of-Season Stays
You can currently rent our villas out of season. New for this year, you can also rent a mobile home in the early weeks of May before the seasons begins, subject to availability.
