Our Team in France

Christopher and Laura McCulloch-Merle

Chris is our holiday park manager and his wife Laura is our programme manager. Chris has a background in military engineering, has worked for Operation Mobilisation (where he met Laura) and has run a Christian youth activity centre in France.

That's just a sample from a very interesting CV! Laura is a teacher who has worked both in her home country of Scotland and in an international setting with OM.

Jimmy Hubert

Jimmy is responsible for all aspects of maintenance around Le Pas Opton, both inside and outside. His team do everything from cutting the grass to fixing a light bulb. His aim is to ensure that everything is “nickel”, meaning in top condition for guests. Jimmy is married to Mary, one of our seasonal reception team.
 

Yannick Devineau

Our head chef Yannick has become well known for his gourmet dinners, cookery demonstrations and superb menu. Amongst his many innovations is an occasional guest outing to the St Jean du Mont beach to collect shellfish known as pignons – he then gives a cooking demonstration and tasting session – simply delicious!

Steven May-Miller – MD

Steven May-Miller has been the managing director of Spring Harvest Holidays since May 2005, having previously worked for Spring Harvest as Deputy Chief Executive. He speaks French and loves the opportunity to put his language skills into action. Steven is based in the UK at Spring Harvest's head office but is a regular visitor to LPO through the year.
 

Ian Scott – Director

Ian worked for Spring Harvest in the UK before moving to France with his wife Jill. He has been involved with the Spring Harvest Holidays project from the earliest days and lived on site during the early months of change and upheaval. He and his wife still live a couple of hours from LPO and are regular visitors.
 

Alan Johnson - Director

Alan is Chief Executive of the Memralife Group which encompasses the Spring Harvest event and other former activities of Spring Harvest and ICC. He is the man who had the original vision for a Christian holiday park in France and he worked tirelessly to locate, purchase and rebuild the site and saw the project through its first two seasons before handing over to Steven May-Miller. He remains actively involved as a Director.
 

David Dorricott - Director

Married to Alison, David is Managing Director of a software company based on the Isle of Man. He brings his business skills and deep Christian commitment to the work of the Board of Directors. David and Alison spend much of their time on Friends and Heroes, a major project to produce a world class animated Bible story series.
 

Alison Dorricott - Director

Married to David, Alison's special interest is the French Houseparty which she hosts with David. This week caters especially for single people in the 20-40s bracket, and also welcomes singles and couples of all ages.
 

Ian Coffey- Chair of Directors

Ian is chairman of the Spring Harvest Holidays Board of Directors. He is currently the Director of Leadership Training at Moorlands Theological College and was formerly a member of the Spring Harvest Leadership team. Ian is well known to Spring Harvest guests as a Bible teacher and regular speaker and his visits to LPO give him the opportunity to play golf, a favourite activity!
 

Peter Martin - Director

Peter is the deputy CEO of Memralife Group which encompasses the Spring Harvest event and other former activities of Spring Harvest and ICC. His background is in sales and retailing and has spent many years developing ICCs business across a range of services including recording studios, media duplication, record labels and copyright services.
